Have you heard of Proxima Centauri? This is a red dwarf star near the Sun. It is just 4.24 light-years away from Earth. There are reports which have been hinting that there is company for Earth near Proxima Centauri. The possibility of a potentially habitable planet has been under speculation for quite some time now. The observation was made public on August 24th2016.
Further investigations reveal that the new planet’s orbit is warm enough to contain liquid water on its surface. The presence of water is the biggest indication of existence of life on the planet. Till now this hasn’t been confirmed. However, all the other conditions that have been investigated give scientists more hope as the days pass by.
Avi Lord who is the adviser to Breakthrough Starshot Project said that the habitable, rocky planet found would be an abode for human civilization to start living after the Sun died and Earth is destroyed, five billion years away.
Breakthrough Starshot is planning to send spaceships to investigate further. However, this will take around 20years to reach the new planet. For some kind of data to reach Earth, you would have to wait another 4.5 years after the spacecraft reaches the new destination.

Zika virus is spread by the bite of a mosquito belonging to the Aedes genus. This is a serious outbreak and could affect hundreds of people in a short span of time. According to reports, the Aedes mosquito can only fly a few hundred meters all their life. However, the infection travels the world when people who are infected travel to other places.

He said that it was not the end of the world out there and the international media was creating a huge fuss over this. He also said that mosquitoes were more in the summer and still there were no major problems, so there was no need to fear during winter when mosquitoes are much less in number.

Basically, the hyperloop is made of reduced-pressure tubes. Pressurized capsules are introduced into these tubes. They ride on air cushions which are driven using linear induction motors as well as air compressors .The speed of these capsules is 700 miles per hour. The first plan was to open a route between Los Angeles and San Fransisco. The estimated time will be 35minutes between the two places.
As Musk was engaged in business concerned with his firms Space X, Solar City and Tesla motors, he could not complete the project. This was then outsourced to those who were ready to take up the challenge. Designs for the capsules and test tracks are being researched and developed A full-scale 8 km track is expected to start operation in 2016. This will help to find the defects in the plan and help to improvise a feasible and safe method of transport.
